Reading Challenges and TBR – January edition

Howdy, Wayfarers!

I spent a lot of today organising my January challenges and planning what I’ll be reading, so I wanted to share that with you! I also took a few pictures for Insta that you’ll see very soon, I promise. Hope you like them 😊

I’m participating in two challenges this month. One being TBR’s Winter Wonderland challenge and the other is Fox & Wit’s monthly challenge. I’ve been assigned to team Dragon’s Den! Feeling good about this. TBR’s WW challenge runs over December and January since the holidays took up a good portion of that time. Here’s my board so far:

Not the prettiest, I know, but it works for me. πŸ˜‹ Of the 11 books I read in December, only 4 contributed to this, so I’ll need to get myself in gear to make it happen. If you have any recommendations, I’m happy to hear them! And the image for FnW’s challenge is:

Go Dragon’s! I’ve already chosen my books for this, but would love to know what you would have chosen. Here’s mine:

Two Words – Crooked Kingdom, Prince – The Cruel Prince, Russian-inspired – Siege and Storm, Debut – We Set the Dark on Fire, Swords – Nevernight, Empire – Circle of Shadows.

I’m so excited about my full TBR this month! It’s a really great line up, but I’ll probably need to add a couple more to complete the WW challenge. My full January TBR:

I’m thinking Crooked Kingdom for True Love, need to add something for Dragons, something for Myth, and a Re-read. Plus, The Poppy War (not pictured) for Asian inspired. Have you read any? What would you add for the challenge? I’ve finished Once a King and am halfway through The Blood Spell. Spoiler alert: LOVING IT!

Happy reading, friends!
